friday fix :: caffeine kick (part two)
Following on the last post on Starbucks, I came across another. Meant to be. This little beauty is part of the brands innovation laboratory roll out and is located in a bank vault in Amsterdam.
In their own words “with its ‘Slow’Coffee Theatre, hyper local design, floating community gathering spaces and on-site baking, Starbucks – ‘The Bank’ is a glimpse into Starbuck’s vision to the future.”

local loving :: rusty key journal
In the days of all things digital, hand held and electronic, it makes a lovely change to find something crafted.
Like this journal.
Made by hand it’s one of a kind. Distinct, unique and yes, made in New Zealand. Of course.

local loving :: imperial beauty

local loving :: pil hanging lamp
Hand turned timber from Southland (South Island of NZ) and artisan hand blown glass. A combination that can’t go wrong. Add LED lighting and these pendant “PIL” lights are just lovely. Simple and so well done.

New Zealand goodness. Found here.
